ARCZ is a verification-first professional network for India’s built environment. It brings together real built projects, verified registered firms, firm-linked professionals, project requirements, industry knowledge and product-procurement workflows in one connected ecosystem. Clients can explore work before evaluating a firm; professionals can build a structured presence without paying for ranking or visibility; and project owners can send one brief to relevant firms through Post a Brief. ARCZ is organised across five core sections: the Projects feed, Circle, Insights, Post a Brief and BUILD by ARCZ. Verification improves the quality of discovery, but it does not guarantee project outcomes, pricing, suitability or professional performance.
At a glance
• Platform: A verification-first professional network for the built environment.
• Primary users: People planning projects, registered built-environment firms and professionals, builders, developers, businesses, researchers and product brands.
• Core sections: Projects feed, Circle, Insights, Post a Brief and BUILD by ARCZ.
• Discovery model: Latest-first and geography-aware, without paid ranking, public popularity metrics or visibility boosts.
• Cost model: ARCZ is intended to remain free for the professional community; Post a Brief is free for both sides; commercial workflows sit within BUILD by ARCZ.
• Primary starting point: Explore the ARCZ homepage to see real built projects and move into the relevant platform section.
• Important limit: Verification improves trust and context. It is not a guarantee of suitability, cost, schedule, quality or project outcome.

Why ARCZ exists
A photograph can show a completed space without identifying who designed it, coordinated it or executed it. A firm can have credible work without receiving consistent visibility on platforms driven by advertising, follower counts or engagement. A product brand can publish a catalogue without entering the stage where architects, designers and project teams make specification decisions.
ARCZ addresses these problems by separating five functions that are often mixed together: project evidence, professional discovery, editorial knowledge, requirement routing and product procurement.
The result is not a ranking of “best” firms. It is a structured route from seeing real work to researching the people behind it, understanding the project decision, finding interested professionals or moving into specification and quotation.
The five connected layers of ARCZ
ARCZ can be understood through a simple sequence:
• Projects provide evidence.
• Circle supports professional research.
• Insights explains decisions.
• Post a Brief captures a real requirement.
• BUILD by ARCZ carries product intent towards configuration, quotation and procurement.
Projects feed: discover firms through real built work
The ARCZ homepage is the Projects feed: a latest-first, geography-aware stream of real built projects posted by verified registered firms and reviewed before publication. Discovery begins with the selected or user city and can expand to nearby cities. A project may be connected to the firm’s base city as well as the city where the work was executed.
Project pages can provide the project description, location, type, firm, team and collaborators where those details have been supplied and verified. This matters because the work is not presented as anonymous inspiration. It becomes a route to the people and firms responsible for it.
The Floating Boxes project page, for example, connects a residential project in Vadodara to its firm, named team members and a landscape collaborator.
Circle: research verified firms and firm-linked professionals
Circle is ARCZ’s professional-directory layer. It helps users discover verified firms and professionals linked to those firms through location, category, profile information and real project work.
Circle is not a ranking of the “best” practices. Firms cannot buy a higher position, and public popularity signals do not determine professional credibility. Its role is to make relevant firms easier to research while preserving a direct relationship between the user and the professional.
Insights: understand the built environment before making a decision
Insights is ARCZ’s editorial and information layer. It covers architecture, interiors, projects, events, professional disciplines, specification, procurement and wider built-environment knowledge.
Its purpose is to answer practical questions with current evidence, clear limitations and accountable review. A useful Insights article should help a reader make a better decision, then connect that decision to the relevant project, professional, brief or product workflow.
Post a Brief: send one structured requirement to relevant firms
Post a Brief allows a homeowner, builder, developer, business or professional to submit one structured project requirement. ARCZ reviews the brief and routes it to relevant ARCZ-verified firms according to the selected city, category and requirement.
Firms initially receive the project information without the requester’s contact details. When a firm expresses interest, the requester receives the firm’s ARCZ profile and both sides receive the details required to connect.
The feature is free for both sides. ARCZ does not sell the requirement as a paid lead or take a commission from the firm’s professional fee.
Until a stable public URL is approved, Post a Brief should be accessed through the live action on the ARCZ homepage.
BUILD by ARCZ: move from product intent to a quote-ready requirement
BUILD by ARCZ is the platform’s product, specification, customisation, quote-ready procurement and B2B transaction layer. It helps users move from product discovery to configuration, technical support, quotations and procurement.
The model is intentionally curated around one vetted brand partner per product category. That commercial relationship does not purchase visibility in the Projects feed or Circle. Professional discovery remains separate, neutral and free of paid placement.
HYBEC is the current architectural-lighting category partner on BUILD by ARCZ. ARCZ does not own or manufacture HYBEC; the relationship provides a route into lighting products, configuration, support, quotation and procurement through BUILD by ARCZ.
Who ARCZ is for
People planning or delivering projects
Homeowners, builders, developers, businesses and other project owners can use ARCZ to study real work, research relevant firms and send a structured requirement through Post a Brief.
Registered built-environment firms
ARCZ is firm-led rather than an open freelancer marketplace. Eligible firms can build a structured professional presence around their projects, team and collaborators without paying for ranking or visibility.
The platform’s professional categories include:
• Architect
• Interior Designer
• Landscape Architect
• Urban Planner
• Structural Engineer
• MEP Consultant
• Project Management Consultant
• Quantity Surveyor
• Civil Contractor
• Interior Contractor
• 3D Visualiser
• Architectural Media
• Specialist Consultant
Firm-linked professionals and collaborators
Professionals can be linked to the firms they work with, while project teams and collaborators can be credited on relevant project pages. This gives users more context than a project image or firm name alone.
Brands and manufacturers
Brands participate through BUILD by ARCZ, where product discovery can progress into specification, customisation, quotations and procurement. This does not give a brand or paying firm control over professional rankings.
Industry, media, researchers and students
Insights, project pages and professional profiles can provide structured context for understanding firms, disciplines, cities, projects and built-environment workflows. Any external use should preserve the stated limitations and check the date of the information.
What ARCZ verifies and what it does not guarantee
Firm approval is mandatory before a firm becomes part of the professional network. Projects are reviewed before publication, and the main Projects feed is intended for real built work. Team members can be linked to firms, and project collaborators can be credited when their involvement is supplied and verified.
Verification improves the quality of discovery by adding identity, project and team context. It does not replace the reader’s own due diligence.
ARCZ verification does not guarantee:
• that a firm is suitable for every project;
• a particular fee, cost, programme or commercial outcome;
• authorship, quality, client satisfaction or regulatory compliance beyond the information actually reviewed;
• that every photograph has undergone independent forensic verification;
• the outcome of an appointment, contract, product selection or construction process.
Before appointing a firm, a client should still evaluate scope, credentials, relevant experience, availability, fees, contracts and statutory requirements. Product and procurement decisions also require project-specific technical coordination.
Two operating choices define ARCZ
Verification comes before visibility
ARCZ requires firm approval and project review before professional work becomes part of its discovery system. That places evidence and attribution ahead of online popularity.
Commerce is separated from professional ranking
ARCZ does not use likes, follower counts, comments, paid boosts or sponsored professional rankings. The professional community is not charged subscription, posting, lead or visibility fees, and ARCZ does not take a commission from professional design fees.
Commercial activity is handled through BUILD by ARCZ and other value-added workflows rather than by selling a better position in professional discovery.
This separation is central to ARCZ’s neutrality: a firm does not receive permanent priority because it joined earlier, has a larger audience or pays for a commercial service.
How to use ARCZ for a real decision
• To see real built work: Start with the Projects feed on the ARCZ homepage.
• To research a firm or professional: Use Circle and review the connected profile and project information.
• To understand a profession, project decision, event or specification issue: Read Insights.
• To reach firms that are interested in a real requirement: Use Post a Brief from the ARCZ homepage.
• To discover, configure, specify or request a quotation for products: Use BUILD by ARCZ.
Where ARCZ helps—and where another step is still required
ARCZ is useful when the next task is discovery, evidence gathering, professional research, requirement routing or product-specification support. It reduces the distance between a project, the people connected to it and the next practical action.
It is not a substitute for professional appointment documents, statutory verification, contracts, site investigation, technical design, cost advice or project-specific judgement.
ARCZ also does not declare one firm universally better than another. The platform provides a more structured starting point; the final decision remains with the client and the appointed professionals.
Common misunderstandings about ARCZ
• ARCZ is not a “top architects” list. It supports verification and discovery without paid ranking.
• Circle is the professional directory within ARCZ, not a closed club or award.
• Verification is not a guarantee of project performance or suitability.
• Post a Brief is not a lead auction. It is free, and details are exchanged after a firm expresses interest.
• BUILD by ARCZ does not affect professional ranking in the Projects feed or Circle.
• HYBEC is a category partner on BUILD by ARCZ; ARCZ does not own or manufacture HYBEC.
Frequently asked questions
Is ARCZ a directory?
ARCZ is a broader professional network. Circle is its directory layer, while the Projects feed, Insights, Post a Brief and BUILD by ARCZ perform different functions across discovery, knowledge, demand and procurement.
Who can join ARCZ as a firm?
Only registered firms are eligible to join as firms, subject to ARCZ approval. ARCZ is not designed as an open freelancer marketplace. Professionals can be linked to eligible firms and credited through project teams and collaborations.
What does ARCZ verify?
ARCZ approves firms and reviews projects before publication. The process adds professional, project, team and collaborator context. It does not guarantee commercial performance, project outcomes or suitability for every appointment.
Is ARCZ free?
ARCZ is intended to remain free for the professional community, without subscription, posting, lead, paid-placement or visibility-boosting fees. Post a Brief is free for both the requester and responding firms. BUILD by ARCZ contains commercial product, service, quotation and procurement workflows.
Does ARCZ rank the best architects or designers?
No. ARCZ does not use paid ranking, follower counts, likes or public popularity metrics to declare the best firm. Users discover and assess verified firms through project work, location, category and profile context.
How does Post a Brief protect contact details?
Relevant firms first receive the project information without the requester’s contact details. Contact information is exchanged after a firm expresses interest, allowing both sides to connect around a relevant requirement.
What is the difference between ARCZ and BUILD by ARCZ?
ARCZ is the trust and professional-discovery network. BUILD by ARCZ is the product, specification, customisation, quotation, procurement and transaction layer. Commercial participation in BUILD by ARCZ does not purchase professional visibility on ARCZ.
Where should a first-time visitor start?
Start at the ARCZ homepage. The Projects feed provides the clearest view of how ARCZ connects built work to verified firms, teams and the wider platform.
Start with real work
ARCZ is best understood as a connected system rather than a single directory or content site. Projects show the work. Circle identifies the firms and professionals. Insights explains the decisions. Post a Brief turns a requirement into relevant professional interest. BUILD by ARCZ carries product intent towards a quote-ready and procurement workflow.
Explore the ARCZ homepage to begin with real built projects and choose the section that matches your next decision.
